We all had great crews in the 119th. Cause we generally flew with the same crew once we made Aircraft Commander. Crews in other units were shocked when our pilots flew for other units because we talked with the crews and told them that we depended on them for help in flying the aircraft. Our crews taught all of us how important the extra eyes and brains guiding the aircraft were.

Someone did something right in the 119th by assigning a Crewchief,a door gunner, and an Aircraft Commander to an aircraft. It made a stronger team. We depended on each other.

The bonds are still there.
