The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Dennis Pittsenbarger, who died on June 29th, 1965 in Unknown Location, Vietnam. The cause of his death was Helicopter Crash (Door gunner TDY to 502nd). At the time of his death Dennis was 26 years of age. He was from Doe Hill, Virginia.

Dennis is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 02E, Line 24.

The decorations earned by PFC Dennis Pittsenbarger include: the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
