Sniper

Amazing (NOT REALLY) how the anti-gun lobby (yes, even guised in the credentials of reporters, local and national, - police, FBI, and BATF) have stated all but definitively that the Montgomery County shooter(s) MUST have had military training, or be a hunter or hunters, and that the weapon was an "assault rifle", "assault pistol" or "high-powered rifle". Either a 22 Hornet, Jet or Bee, 220 Swift, 221 Zipper, .223 (5.56x45, for the "M16") or .222, 22-250 or 6mm ????? None of these has an exceptionally loud report. so, --

I wonder that since only one person has reported hearing a shot, if mebbe someone has a suppressor? Even on the news today, a BATF agent stated that from 150 yards, you can't even HEAR the shot. Pfooey...

Since the preponderance of us, Gentlemen, were able to hit targets (really, SHORT silhouettes), over OPEN sights, at distances up to 800 meters,
with M14 and/or M16, we might ALL be suspects...

Frankly, when I can't hit a target that size, at 150 yards, with a freshly-purchased Walmart .270 and a $29.00 scope, it's time to give up the ghost.

Tom, have you visited Walmart yet to stock up??
Too bad we can't get Daschle or one of the Bagdad
Congressmen to mow your lawn, and YOU get a bead on the perps...but DON"T hit the Congressmen...they should be tried for Treason, or at least giving aid and comfort to the potential (read: N-E-X-T) enemy... (o.k., so I'm a Hawk)

Be safe.... if you go out, Go Armed. I do.
My Virginia license plate sez: TEN 32 (local and State police radio code for "subject with a gun"... but I'm legal, and it only comes out when appropriate and necessary, but not necessarily in that order. You know what I mean.

Lumpy
No Target.
