"Foreign Duty Pay" at 13.00 for enlisted. I do remember that- Dave got ripped off, unless his tour was looong before mine (70)..
What made me say that I thought Flight pay for Commissioned officers was much higher is that I took an OH-58 flight at Bliss with my Battery Commander, who also was a 1st Bde chopper driver in 'Nam, (but I dunno what unit)- and he told me he was just staying current for the big buxxx-
seems he told me $550.00/month !! but that was '74 (and that was before the big raises of the mid-70s.) -that was more than I took home per month til I made SSG, with two other mouths to feed....
