victim was (IS) 37, not 60. CNN reported head shot. Wrong. All the rest of this came off my scanner. After I'd sent the sitrep, I realized that I'd left out that the FBI TF spotlight was chopper-borne. Apparently the light only hit the white van, which almost hit another vehicle when spotlighted- but the driver of the car almost hit immediately called 911 and stated that TWO vehicles exited at Woodbridge- a white van w/ ladder rack, AND a white box truck- coincidence?
I just can't figure how the chopper lost him/them...although the highway exit involved is a relatively high-speed exit, ya gotta really slow down not to roll a van or truck over at the next merge...

I have all the respect in the world for the street cops and others of all types who are out there screening white vans and trucks...lotta guts... a lot of these folks are alone...too many events for all to have backup.....two State Police high-speed chases last night after the shooting turned out to be DWIs.
I know I've heard several hundred "suspicious vehicle" reports in the last two weeks, and probably half were stops of white vans and box-trucks.

I'll pass on all I learn-not that it does much good for anyone else- it really helps me vent...

I just wish someone would catch him/them and tie them to a post about 500 yards from my front porch, and give me a few mikes with him/them....
