The VHPA Ft Wolters Chapter and the National Vietnam War Museum will participate in the Ft Worth, Texas Veterans Day parade Saturday 9 Nov. I have not contacted them but I think the VHFCMA will also be in it.
Chuck Carlock is bringing 3 hueys and an OH-6 on trailers, (complete with machine guns, c rat cans and chicken plates). We will pull the choppers behind Pick up trucks and man them with members. We will have chapter and museum signs on them. The parade begins Saturday morning in down town Ft Worth.
Willie, call me if you can and get some guys to man the choppers with us.
Two yeas ago a couple of guys with crew chief wings on their coats were standing there looking at the choppers and I asked them to hop aboard and ride with us. They beamed. So did their kids.
