I'm glad to hear that the running landing wasn't the bird I was on after being picked up from the crash. I didn't remember it that way. It was a wild ride, your right about that.

The last time I saw 464 was when a shit hook dropped it on it's rotor head upside down from about ten feet. I thought that drop would have put it down for good. The thing I want to know is, it took three days for them to pick it up. I heard it was because of enemy fire. I also heard we had casualties on the ground protecting it. Is there any way we can find that out? If that's true, I wish we had rolled in on it with guns and blown the damn thing up.

I've been to the day by day accounts of Jan. and Feb. 70. It's strange to see the crash, but no mention of my wound. Any way to make entry's to the log?
