Flight ID Colors

First flight platoon had the yellow background on their patch. To match the patch the tail stinger was also painted yellow. In 1968 the 52nd Bn. Had us add the red white and blue stripes on the tail booms. The tail numbers were enlarge for ID purposes. The first flight choose to make the tail numbers yellow. Second flight had the blue background and white as their tail stinger color. They choose to use white as their tail number color. The Croc's whose tail stinger was green choose the yellow for their tail numbers. The nose art that most of the ships had from 1967 till 1969 matched the flight patches. Yellow for first flight Blue for second.
