Just to show you how thngs changes after 66-67 the 100% alerts I remember went like this: The Crew Chief went down to the flight line and got the Bird ready for take-off. That included mounting the guns, loading the ammo, untieying the blades and setting the controls so all the pilot had to do was pull the trigger. If the shit did hit the fan the pilots were to head for the flight line and get the birds out of Dodge. We were to stay at the ship until the all clear was given.
