Dave, Do you remember in October '68 when we were on LZ Joan and the three civilians were lost (supposedly farmers trying to find their way to their fields) and set off the trip flares in front of our bunker? We sent them off to the great rice paddy in the sky. The next day we were investigated and interviewed by CID. Seems they wanted to file some kind of charges against us. Capt.Tower told the CID that we reacted according to orders and we never heard from them again.
