As long as you have locals ANYWHERE in the food handling or cleaning process ( from the dock to the plate) you run the risk of food poisoning. I think it is time the troops in high risk parts of the world got used to KP again. I had to do it as young troop for 2 full weeks after reporting in to one overseas base. I did not like it, but I had no desire to poison anyone either. " Exept maybe the mess Sgt. and the KP pusher-)
