Re: Letters Home!
In Response To: Letters Home! ()

Tom,
Hope U can include your wife when you start reading. She is one of the few original wives who go back that far and is still with you. She will be impacted when those old memories return, too. She'll understand if U cry or get wierd on this in a way that "newer" spouses cannot because they weren't a part of that era.

This is just a thought from a widow who experienced a deep stirring of that pot and what it can do to both of you. Can cause some deep inner pus pockets to surface for you. But, it can also cause more healing to take place. Your wife, from what I've learned from what you've said about your family, sounds as if she is one of the few people who can help you go through those memories and come out with a much greater healing than anyone else...Yer "built-in psychiatrist"!

Looking forward to your sharing of living history.
Awww shucks..couldn't U leave in a few of your choice personal words to her, too???? That's what makes history so much fun!! ) Just kidding.

Do heed Bob's advice.
Caroline
