What flight was Marty / Gator 297 ? Would he have worn the patch below ?

I am trying to put together a design and have a patch for my vest made (to cover the back, about 9 1/2" round) and have it done before Rolling Thunder this year. Rather than belong to an MC I think these will be the 'colors' I wear when I ride. I am thinking I will use the patch he would have worn, and around the outside of it 'In Memory WO1 Martin Given - AC Gator 297'
