Try to work with certain dates of larger reports. The battalion reported a lessons learned report about every three months. Start with one of those and then from the information which you might find you can go to step two of getting reports of certain dates.

The whole system is maddening. Plan on spending lots of time waiting. I have been there a couple of times now and there is no easy way to look for the information. Lots of people have screwed it up with stealing the records and other stuff so just take it slow. I found that some of the best stuff I got came from the 4th Infantry reports. The after action reports are sometimes incomplete but it seems that the radio logs are the most actuate.
