Dear Lorraine,

Hi Honey!! Everything is going the same here except on thing, you have to change my mail address. Instead of Pvt. It’s PFC. That means an extra $20.00 each month. It’s not much but it will give us more to get started on when I get home.

We had to work late tonight since there are several ships in for maintenance and repair. It makes the 119th look good if we have a high percentage of aircraft available for missions every day. In a way it’s good to stay busy because it helps the time go faster. I’m trying not to count how many days I have left to go.

The weather has been very hot today and its not going to get any better until the rainy season hits. The guys that have been here for a while say enjoy it, the rainy season is miserable. I’m going to go to the EM club with some of the guys tonight and have a few beers. If I was home I’d have to drive to DC but here it doesn’t matter how old you are you can drink any thing you want at the club. I think I’d rather drive to DC.

Have I told you lately that I miss you. I try not to write about it very much since it only makes me depressed and I have too much time left to get depressed. The guys are waiting for me so I have to go. I’ll write again soon.
