Dear Lorraine,

Hi Honey! How are you? I have a little buzz on we got off work early today. The CO Major Edwards decided to throw a party for the whole company. We had hamburgers and beer. The burgers were even charcoal grilled you should see the grills. They take a 55 gal. Drum and cut in it half length wise and put legs on it then some kind of grate on the top. It works just as good as a regular one. We also played softball on the runway. Got another letter from you and a card that made my day. I also got a letter from my brother, that was a surprise.

We have a weapons inspection tomorrow morning at 8:00 so I will have to spend some time tonight cleaning my M14. With all the dust here that will take a lot of time. Everything here is still about the same hot and dry, still working in the hanger and wishing I could fly more. I also wish my year was up but no such luck. Not much else to say right now except that I Miss You very much. Keep the letters coming they mean a lot.

Love Tom
