Dear Lorraine,
Hi Honey, I think I知 about to go out of my mind, the guy in the next hooch has a tape recorder blasting out Beach Boys music. It s nice to hear but it makes me home sick and of course it makes me think of you.
I spent some time talking with some the guys in Second Flight tonight. I知 trying to get an idea of what its going to be like flying all the time and just what will be expected of me. The Guys place I知 taking has finished his year and is going home. Makes me wish it were me but no such luck. I am a little nervous about it since I知 not quite sure just what to expect. I know the maintenance part of the job quite well and have been told that I値l pick up rest with no problem. Not sure who I値l be flying with I壇 like to talk with the Pilots and get to know them and what they expect. I have guard duty again tonight but that should lighten up when I start flying. You won稚 have to change my address since I値l still be with the 119th and will have to move my stuff to different hooch.
How are things at school? In your last letter you mentioned that two of your courses were kind of tough. Is your Geography teacher still saying a bunch of crap about Vietnam? I壇 like to meet him when I get home and set him straight.
Well that痴 all for now I have to get my stuff together and report for guard duty. I値l try and write again tomorrow.
