Dear Lorraine,

Hi Honey! I miss you very much. I haven’t flown for the past two days since my ship has been in for inspection. It’s all done now and we start flying again tomorrow. Not sure what we will be doing but there is talk about another CA soon. That will break the monotony of all the re-supply missions. I hope it goes well and does not get ugly.

You’re still doing a great job with the letters I also enjoy the Peanuts comic strips you send. Mr. Dobbs has Snoopy painted on the back of his Flight Helmet and when I see it I think of you. Willie says Hi, he is one of the other crew chiefs in my hooch and he comes from Texas.

I’m going to the EM Club later. I’d rather be home and going to the Brickskeller with you but that’s just a dream. I remember the jukebox and someone would always play Scotch & Soda and Satisfaction. I think a lot about the things we used to do and the good times we’ve had. We will have a lot of catching up to do when I get home.
