Bob,

For some reason I remember that day very well and we did not go back in for any one. We did make a second trip in with more troops though. I remember Dobbs yelling on the intercom to get them out and I remember giving the last guy some help out the door. The only reason I did that was because I was also watching the Torque Meter climb and could hear the RPMs dropping. When you fly as much as we did you could just sence or hear when things were not proper. I'm not sure how Dobbs got us out without driving us into the ground but that is what they paid him to do. I could also feel how much Tail Rotor he kicked in when Power fell off.
