Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey How are you? I’m just fine. We are still here at Lane doing the some stuff. We logged over 6 hours today with a few breaks in between, it mad for a long day. Got back here just before 7:00 tonight. I had C-Rats for dinner because the chow hall food looked like crap. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back at Holloway soon because my ship is getting close to having 1100 hours on it and that means it is due for a Major Inspection. That will take several days to complete. I’m ready for a break and if I am lucky I won’t get Guard Duty or have to fly for someone else. We did a lot of re-supply today, mostly ammo for the artillery FSB’s and then we moved some troops. I think we will be doing the same thing tomorrow.

Well how has the World been treating you? It’s been pretty good to me. Not in the sense that I’m in Vietnam or far away from you but I’m in good health and I got another letter from you today. You sure do know how to cheer me up keep them coming. I am sending more pictures to my Dad and he will let you know when he gets them.

I know I shouldn’t say this but I have 4 months down, that’s a good thought, but 8 to go stinks. I try not to think about it but sometimes I just can’t help it. The future is all we have, over here we live day by day you can’t think about tomorrow when you’re flying. This is going the wrong way so I’ll make it a short letter.

I Love You Very Much
