Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey, How are you? I’m a bit tired, I have spent most of my day over at the Hanger working on my ship. The 1100-hour inspection is a big one and requires that many of parts be changed. Today the 42 and 90-degree gearboxes were changed along with several other things. Tomorrow the transmission will be replaced. This is the second day and I’m sure it will take at least two more. Part of today I had to help with a detail filling sand bags for the Helipads. Not much going on out in the field right now.

I am enjoying the time away from flying but having an idle mind makes me think of home and you. While filling sand bags I started thinking of the good times we have had at the beach or water skiing up at Seneca. Right now its just day dreaming but one day soon we will do those things again. Excuse me for the trip down memory lane but it lets my mind get away from here for a while.

I wish I had more to say but like I said, there is not much happening. I promise to write again tomorrow.

Love
Tom
