Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey, My eye is much better today, I had another appointment and got cleared to Fly. I fudged that one a little bit and told them it’s OK now. Got my physical signed off and all is well. My ship is due for a test flight today and if all goes well I should be back in the air tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed the time off but this is getting boring. Too much time to think about being here. Time defiantly passes faster when I’m busy.

I have to go over to the hanger, it’s almost time for the Test flight. I’ll finish later.

I Love You.

I’m back it’s about 4:00 here and the Test flight went well. My ship is back at the pad and ready to go. Later I’ll put my tools back on along with a few cases of C-Rats hang the Survival Kit, put the steel plates back under mine and my gunners seat, hang up some smoke grenades and hand grenades and load the ammo boxes. Other than that we will be ready to go. I don’t know what missions we will have but anything is better than sitting around.

I got some pictures back today and am enclosing a few of them for you. I’ll send the rest to my Dad. How are things at school and with your roommates? Is your mother still being a pain in the butt when you are home on weekends?

Not much else to say now so I guess I’ll finish with my ship so I’ll be ready for tomorrow. I Love You very much.
