Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey, How are you? I am doing OK considering my situation. From reading your letters it seems as if school is getting rough. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the time you take to write to me. I know I could find the time to write more often but like I said before, some days I just can’t find any thing to say.

Today we flew mostly re-supply missions. We have been taking a lot of ammo out to the fire bases and then finished off the day with Hot Meal runs to grunts in the field. There seems to be a lot of patrols out so something is up, just not sure what. If they find anything we will know it and get pretty busy. After today’s missions I did my daily inspection and then Jim and I washed and waxed the ship. It sounds kind of dumb to wax a Helicopter but its part of the job and I like to keep it looking good. It also keeps my mind off of other things like not being with you. We are supposed to do a CA tomorrow but I don’t know much about it yet. I like the CA’s because it breaks up the boring re-supply missions.

Well five months have passed since I got here but I’m not going to start counting down yet. I have too much time to go and don’t want to start thinking about getting out of here. That’s about all for now, You are in my dreams and I Love You very much.
