Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey. Well another day has passed by with no events. We did have a CA yesterday but there was no activity in the LZ. Today was spent moving troops around and doing re-supply missions. I had Guard Duty last night and still had to fly today but our takeoff was later than usual so I did get to rest a little. Guard Duty is the pits but last night was beautiful, it was warm out with a cooling breeze and the moon was almost full. You can’t believe how many stars you can see in the sky as compared to home. It reminded me of being at the beach. I spent a lot of time thinking about you and the good times we have had. I started to think about the future but stopped myself since the future is so uncertain right now. The only thing missing while my mind wondered was you. That kind of ruined my daydreaming.

I don’t know what is going on tomorrow but things have been quite for too long. It makes me edgy when there is no activity, you just wait for something to happen. We have been moving lots of troops out in the field so maybe something is up. Not much else to say now so I think I’ll just sit here, look at your pictures, and drink a few beers.

I will try to write again tomorrow. I Love You and Miss You.
