Bob,
As your friend and your comrade, I think I can give you a feed back on this issue. You know I dislike the Communist as much as you do, but I disagree with {your source}. I know for fact, most if not all amerisians had left the country during the time from 1990 - 1998. I know a lot of them here in FW and elsewhere in United States. I did talk to them from different occasions, from different places I came by and the stories were the same. They all got out during that time period. They are not only to get out the country by themselves, but with the families that took care of them. People there even adopted Amerisians so that they can get out of the country with them. The government US and Communist not just allow them ( Amerisians) to get out, but their families as well. People even paid them (Amerisians) to recognize them as relatives so that they can get the hex out of the country. I found that stories to be truth, not fabricated. I can arrange for you to meet some of the Amerisians here in FW, in fact, a few of them in my church. They are black kids, white kids. About the montanards area in Pleiku, I found the story is to be true. I know for fact that the Communist is brutally disarray them by forces due to some of the upraising there demanding some areas in Pleiku to be independent from the Communist and to be allocated as buffer zone for them. The majority of them are converted from the spirit worship to Christians. My church supported some Christianity activities there. About the cemeteries that have been bulldozed, I found it to be true too. Since the fall of Saigon government, the communist retaliated the fallen South Vietnamese government officials and military officials by bulldozing their cemeteries flat down to the earth surface, the only reason given was for urban development project. In reality this is a brutal retaliation from Communist, the dirty dogs. To their fallen Communist comrades, they were moved to nicer, and better cemeteries known as unknown soldiers cemeteries.
Hope this will give you some ideas. I am with you, I can't let go when talking about VN war subject until I die. I am proud to serve my time for the causes, for the freedom, my only regret was the bad guys won the war. Too much for dirty politically incorrect. WE should be kicking their rears all the way to China and Russia.

Your brother in arms,

Phat Nguyen
