Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey, I hope you are doing OK. Sorry I haven’t written for the past two days, things have been busy here. Part of the company is still on the coast. Some are at Lane and some at LZ Uplift. With just a few of us here at Holloway we have been doing a lot of flying. My ship is getting close to needing another inspection, which will probably ground us for a day. No more night missions but we did have Flare Ship duty last night. Today we put out two Recon Patrols near the border and then flew a C&C (Command & Control) mission for some Major. We took him up north to a place called Dak To and then to Dak Pek. Not sure what he was doing but there is not much around the camps except jungle and mountains.

Thank you for the letters. I got two today, what a boost for my moral. Yesterday I got one from my Mom and she said you stopped by to see her. I know she likes that and it helps take her mind off of other things. You are the greatest and I am lucky to have you.

I might go to the EM Club later with a few of the guys. It helps pass the time and we can have a few drinks and listen music. The only problem with that is we will stay late and then be wiped out in the morning. I put more stamps and a money order in with this. Hope it helps.

That’s about all for now. I’m gonna go take a shower, pray for hot water.

I love You
Tom
