We are of the same opinion on the .50, Bobs- just a bit much.

If want a broken arm, I'l go get a .500 Linebaugh.
Got rid of the .357s... .38 with +P+ is just as good.

My carry is .45 Lightweight Commander, or .45
Enterprise P500 Elite Hi-cap. Potent, but mild to handle. Starfires, Gold Dots, Magsafe, all pretty much the same to me. Love to find a case of Black Talon, though.

Little Taurus .22 auto isn't as formidable as the Beretta 'cat, but holds nine plus one. A Winchester 1300 Defender pump, with 8-round mag is the one to reach for, if I have time.
