Willie, How is this idea. We restore the aircraft to it's proper Vietnam colors and beside it we put a dedication plaque made of the aircraft aluminum (white bronze). It will be similar to the one we made for Gator 297 but having the names of the folks that LTC RUSHING wants memorialized. You have seen that plaque. It is substantial.
It can be placed with the aircraft as a part of the dedication ceremony and can't be painted over by anyone in the future. I knew Taylor when he was a police captain. He and I worked the very first disaster drill at DFW airport when it first opened. He told me he flew CH 47s.
