Ron,

I spent many a night in Dakto at the SF camp. We were supporting what was called Project Omega. Of course you realize not one of those flights crossed the border, that is why they are still classified today. Our ships were rigged with the Mcguire Rigs and a rope ladder. The pennetrator for the ropes was an ammo can filled with dirt and rocks. Prior to that we flew some missions for FOB II out of Kontum using the same rigs. This was in the February to May 67 time frame. The SF guys were great to work with but most of there missions could give a dead man a hard on. They also took great care of the flight crews.
