You're all very welcome Bob. I wish I was able to do more for everyone. As you said, this can be a lot of work but it doesn't compare to what you and the rest of the guys have done for us.

I have to say, it means a lot to me to see you guys getting together and having a good time. This site isn't going to take the place of the get togethers and the beer drinking but I hope I can get it to the point where it's good enough to hold people over between them....

There are a few more ideas and upgrades in the think tank:

- Enhancements to the posting board for resetting passwords, spell checking posts etc. as well as updating the code to the latest version (we're several behind)

- Updating the Photo Album code to the latest version (we're several behind).

- Adding a Juke Box so people can listen to their favorite 60's music online (not midi files, real MP3 music files).

- Adding streaming video so those with cameras can VTC. The real goal here is to have a live camera at next years reunion so those that can't make it can check in 7x24 and see what's going on.... we'll get Huey to put a T1 in for us at his place :)

- A bunch of Admin mods that make it easier for me to manage all this stuff...

- A virtual map of Vietnam with all of the LZ's, camps etc. listed and indexed. This will take a lot of help from you guys to get the graphic built. I did this for the town of Springfield. I broke the map down by grid square and indexed each street to the grid. It worked out well and you could download it and run it locally if you wanted. This is still in the thought phase but I think it would add value.

- Online Store to add some things like Bob's coins etc. This would be fairly quick to setup. The real work will be in setting up the "organization" properly so that the money goes where it belongs. This one I'm actually very interested in because I think it would do a lot towards helping to get everyone together at the yearly reunions. We have some pretty talented guys in this group, no reason it can't benefit them as well.

And this is just the stuff I have been thinking about.... I'm always open to suggestions as well.
