I don't know Mr. Tuck but do have knowledge of some of what he was talking about. There were prisoners thrown out of helicopters (sorry but it's true) by their SF captors; prisoners were hung out the door of helicopters to get them to talk; and many ears were cut off dead bodies by American forces and used to verify body count. I don't know of prisoners being thrown out of 119th helicopters, but I do know of them being hung out the door to make them talk. Naturally, none of us was in a position to cut ears off, but I do know it was practiced for a while in the 4th Infantry Division and by the LRRPs. Sorry, but as most of you know, war is hell! Of course, all of our guys were treated like royalty by the North Vietnamese.
