Jim I was talking about the King Bees. Not the run of the mill pilots. The King bees were the top of the pile and brave as hell. At least the few I saw. They were old line pilots with 5 or 10 years experience. Remember I was an MO and only out on occasions as a chase or to recover, except when I was building time with the platoon, so my experience is limited.
But the king bees I saw were good troops. Another thing, when you were there the VNAF was building up it's aviation companies and they were mostly fresh from school and pretty green.
