Just announced: Disabled vets will get additional benefits if agreement of House/Senate becomes law. 50% + disabled will receive both disability AND retirement. Glitch: will be phased in over 10 year time period..Big long hard fight finally may be over. Hope some of you qualify. Lots of these guys who fought for this won't make the possible 10 year wait but at least others may benefit.
