Hell, That aint the half of it. Last Feb they contacted me and offered the bird to the national ietnam war museum and I said yes and contacted the guys at Mineral Wells Airport to park it. Not another peep until the AAAA convention in Ft Worth in April. At that time the same folks said "no", they are not going to give it to the national Vietnam War museum, but they were "now ontrack to donate the helicopter to the smithsonian". The darned thing can't be certified as a civil aircraft without a lot of mods so I think someone is trying to gain an advantage tax wise. not sure who or hat but as you said , it is sad to see the fight goin on.
