Pauls company lost 3 men while going on night patrol Monday, about 5:30 pm their time, the Stryker they was in plunged off the road and into a drainage canal, landing upside down in eight foot of water only their wheels could be seen. the Stryker paul was in also rolled over in the ditch, paul was able to brake the hatch lock and get all his men out of the stryker, he then dove into the canal and broke the seal on the other Stryker. he pulled the crew out of the stryker three had drown and one was revived,the survivor was flown to an army hospital in nearby Balad. Paul called His wife this Morning to tell us he is alright.this happened around Duluiyah,Iraq."An embankment on the road collapsed, causing two Stryker infantry carrier vehicles to roll over into a canal,"the brigade said in a statement.
