Just for fun, Paul. Fun to build, even more fun to sail. 50mph feet-first with yer tookus 6 inches off the ice feels like 150mph; it's a hoot.

Been doing it about 15 yrs, no major injuries. Ultra-careful to inspect the ice, drill for thickness, before sailing. Guys who don't do that get hurt.
