Dear Lorraine,
Hi! Honey! How are you? I知 doing OK considering that we are so far apart and will be for quite some time. I hope my letters get to you before you head back to School for the summer session. I will need your new address as soon as you have it.
Today is a lousy day for flying the rain is coming down in buckets and all flights are on standby until it stops. If all goes as usual that should be around noon. It does give me time to catch up on writing. When I finish this I think I will go to the PX and see if they have any good stuff.
Rainy days here are a reel downer if I was home we could find lots of things to do but that is not the case. Actually if I was home I知 not sure what I would be doing with my life. I guess I need to think about that since that is why I知 here instead of home with you. I could always go back to building boats but I知 not sure I want to work at something that is my hobby, sooner or later fun becomes work. I know I have learned enough about helicopters to go into the aviation industry and I do like flying but it痴 a risky business and a lot of responsibility. Not sure if I want other peoples lives being dependant on my abilities. That is what I have now and it causes me a lot of concern. I trust what I do but it only takes one screw up to end it all. Enough of this, it痴 starting to get me down.
Lets just think of the fact that I知 past the half waypoint here. I can do the time that is left standing on my head. I have to close now the rain has stopped and its flight time. I Love You very much and Miss You.
