D.C. cabbies- oh, yes......

can't read traffic signs or signals, not to mention English.

I was rear-ended by one at the traffic circle in front of Arlington Cemetery, and he knocked my rear bumper almost completely off.

As we discussed his insurance information (hah!!)
he got on the radio and called one of his buddies to come to the scene and say he had witnessed the accident. The buddy approached as the Park Police
showed up, and quickly skee-daddled.

With all due respect to Park Police, this one was dumber than the cabbie. He told me he had no authority to ticket the cabbie (??)..

After MUCHO frustration with the cab company, I turned it over to my insurance company, and let them handle it.
