Lumpy-I got the same patch-when I was in the 2/17 Cav-attached to the 101st in 68-69.We statred with c-models-then got the snakes-had scouts,hueys,and "blues" a grunt quick reaction force.We put out the fires when things got real hot -wild unit.I was tdy with them for about 4 months-wanted to stay- but the 101st had other plans for my young butt-Mix
