Dear Lorraine,

Hi! Honey How are you? I guess by now you are back at school hitting the books. I hope Spring Break was relaxing for you. I’m still not doing very good with the letters but at least I’m writing.

I guess you would like to know what I’ve been doing? How about SOS (Same Old S—T). I guess you could say we like the Mail Man, Neither Rain Nor Sleet, Nor Snow, Nor Dark of Night keeps us from doing our job. We had a CA a few days ago with the 170th. They were short a few ships to make it in one lift so some of the 119th ships helped out. We have been moving some troops and doing some re-supply missions. Tomorrow after missions I have an inspection due on my ship. With any luck I’ll get a day or two off. One of the other guys is on R&R so if we have a lot of missions I’ll have to fly on another ship while mine is in for maintenance.

I have been having trouble sleeping for the past two weeks. I lay in bed and think about being home then I start thinking about our missions. I’ve been thinking about the upcoming missions at Dak To. Still not sure what to expect. There has been a lot of activity out west near the border. The patrols are making contact on a regular basis so I guess the NVA are up to something.

I going to the EM Club with some of the Guys so I’ll stop now. I will try to write again soon. I Love You Very Much.
