We did the move of 1/35 into Pause and the other elements of the 1/35 into LZ Mary. We moved A/1/35 into Pause because of what happened to A/3/8. On 3/4/69 we combat assaulted B/3/8 and Recon/3/8 into the ridgeline north of A/3/8 position. Tried three times before we finally got in. We put C/3/8 in on 3/5/69. By that time A/3/8 was no longer considered a combat unit.
