Ron, truck driver, clerk, medic, wrench, grunt, gunner, crew chief, pilot, officer, enlisted, NCO, whatever; none of us can ever know how many guys are walking around today only because we were there; only because we chose to do what we did. One sure thing is, the better we were at whatever we did, the more guys there are walking around today only because we did that. That's pretty damned good. Most people live their entire lives without ever having the opportunity to accomplish anything anywhere near as meaningful.
