Re: Pledge of Allegiance
In Response To: Pledge of Allegiance ()

I really don't think that the founding fathers thought all of this would happen when the nation was beginning. Atheists don't believe in God. Okay. Do they have like a club or something which has brought them together? I can almost bet they didn't meet at a church. They are offended that the word God is in the pledge. Maybe I'm offended that they don't believe in God. Isn't this what this is all about?

America was established so we could worship our God. Not his God or someone else's God but the God of your choice. Isn't the one of the reasons that Muslims hate America. We allow people to worship their own God. We even allow Muslins to worship even though so many hate us. We also allow people who don't believe the same right. The last time I looked there was no law that forces people to go to church. Apparently the word God has no bearing on money. "In God We Trust" appears on the money they spend. They don't have any trouble with that. The lawyers have no problem accepting this money which is tainted with the word God.

Maybe they are right. A lot of Godless people have helped so much with the development this world. Hitler did some fine work. Most any dictator which has put himself as the supreme being has been everybody's friend.

I have the answer to everyone's problem. Instead of law suits we can settle this quite easily. These people do not want to hear the word God in the Pledge of Allegiance have them leave the room or better yet let's just stick an ice pick in their ears. Of course that makes about as much sense as their law suit.
