I compared it to the one I have from first flight. It appears to be the real deal. The stripes on the main rotor blades and the rotaing light means the kind of detail that the gooks would put on the pin. A fake would omit theses. Hate to say it but Americans are a little lazy when it comes to details.

If my kids went through all the stuff that I found in my duffle bag it would have found its way to e-bay. Rings from smoke gernades, my D-ring, P-38s links from M-60 ammo plus buttons pins and other stuff. Old military duffle bags and personal stuff gets donated to charity and other organizations. You would not believe some of things that get thrown away. If I am wrong its $25.00 and I resale it or give it away. If I am right we have something we could pass on to another family of one of our fallen brothers. Collectors and lawyers are in the same boat. Money before honor. I refuse to surrender something which has so much honor connected to it.
