I am really enjoying your daily operation reports. I wish I had documented more of my tour than I did. Between my letters and a few other historical things, I have been able to remember some of our days but not as much as I wish.

I know my days were filled with more than I wrote but I was reluctent to write home about many of the things that went on. I have a grand son in high school who will be studing a canned version of Vietnam soon so I have been saving some of our posts on a CD and plan to let him read it. I know the canned version will not go into the daily life of a Veteran and I think its important that he gets a more personal view.
