I wrote nothing of what was happening home while I was there. I kept a journal in case something happened to me so my parents would have an idea of what was going on. Once I got back I threw the journal along with other stuff in my mom's basement. It sat there for over twenty five years before I finally started to re read what I had wrote. I am hoping to get as much down as possible for the same reasons. I have children and grandchildren which I hope will want to know what happened over there.
