I've had email and phone contact in the past few days with a former 604th Trans guy, Don Armstrong, 67N, Apr-Jul, 68, then 3/5 Cav, in III Corps) who used to live in the DC area, and is now in New Hampshire.

He tells me has a copy (from the National Archives) of the COMPLETE after-action report
(don't remember what HQ reported it, but will find out soonest...may have been MACV-)
for OPERATION MACARTHUR... I understand that was THE MAJOR OP in II Corps, early '68 thru late '70... I'll ask him to shoot me a copy, and he seems VERY willing to assist in any way he can...

Don tells me also that he served with a guy he thinks went to 119th from 604th in mid-68, a gunner by the name of Christensen, or Christianson, or something similar- does this ring a bell with anyone??
