Dan and Little Joe were and will always be Devil Dog Marines, members of 2nd Platoon, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st MARDIV.

They were lost only two days apart, 7-9 October, 1968. Yet, they are 12 lines apart on the Wall; it
makes one reflect on the names in between, and all
around, only two days apart......

God, we were lucky.
