I had a very calming visit to "THE WALL" this morning. The weather was overcast with a light mist and still there were many other people visiting. I stopped by all the Panels of the 119th guys and also stopped for you Lumpy.

There is something about being at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that provides a feeling of inner peace for me. Even though other people were there I did not sense their presence. You can greve in silence or aloud and people understand. It is a very special place for me and I am glad it is so close.

I would have made Rubbings today for Machelle but the weather put a stop to that. I'll be back for Rolling Thunder and should be able to get it done then.
