The Virtual Wall

Flight:

Maybe I'm "preaching to the choir", because I'm a relative newbie to the internet, BUT:

Gotta share this- never thought about it before, but some may not be aware of access to The Wall online, at---

www.thevirtualwall.org

and

www.thewall-usa.com

one may view all the Wall's listings, and view and sign guest books, leave remembrances, photos, audio clips, make virtual name rubbings, chat, and view the same, posted by others.

Here's Marty's page-

http://www.thevirtualwall.org/search/search_name_report.asp?wall_id_no=18714&q=690.734

here's another example: (a lost Brother of mine) I had the honor of reading Dan's name and 59 others at the Wall last Veterans' Day...

http://www.thevirtualwall.org/search/search_name_report.asp?wall_id_no=9838

at The Virtual Wall, after registering with a username and password, you may make your own "Wall", to which you may add names, and other pertinent info extracted from the site's files, compile statistics, and even chat with others of like mind. Very capable search engines assist in finding individuals, with only the slightest identifying factors. Also, information common to individuals, such as hometown, date of casualty,
MOS, rank, locale of casualty, etc, can be used to compile information/reports (at least at thevirtualwall.org)

If everyone already knows about this, GREAT... if not, well, then... I hope I helped.

Respectfully,
Lumpy
